(1)回转式空气预热器由于其传热面密度高达500㎡/m³,因而结构紧凑,占地面积小,其体积约为同容量的管式空气预热器的1/10。
(2)质量轻,因管式空气预热器的管子厚为1.5mm,而回转式空气预热器的蓄热板其厚度不过0.5~1.25mm,而且蓄热板布置很紧凑,搪瓷管空气预热器,故回转式空气预热器金属耗量约为同容量管式空气预热器的1/3。
(3)回转式空气预热器布置灵活方便,使锅炉容易得到合理的布置方案。
(4)在同样的外界条件下,回转式空气预热器因其受热面金属温度较高,因而低温腐蚀的危险较管式空气预热器轻。
